Saturday, August 6th, brought to Andale the Annual Summerfest. The Pedal Tractor Pull has become a part of that event. This year the pull had 96 participants ranging in age from 2 years old to 12 years old.
Andale Equipment is the generous sponsor of this event. They pay for Dents Pedal Pullers and furnish the first place prizes. Thanks to them as well as the Dents who help make it a fun event.
The second place finishers received a small John Deere tractor.
This year Home Town Buffet also furnished free childrens meals to all of the participants. We would like to thank them also.
The first and second place winners of each age category from 4 to 12 have the opportunity to participate at the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson the first Sunday of the Fair. Good luck to all the winners.

Age 4 First place, Brianna Puetz, 17; second place, Drake Bencke, 14.
Age 5 First place, Hunter Barbeau, 28; second place, Mason McPhail, 23.
Age 6 First place, Jill Bergkamp, 25; second place, Dillon Gordon, 18.
Age 7 First place, Madison Marx, full pull of 30 feet, a second pull of 27; second place, Lonnie Finney, full pull of 30 feet, a second pull of 25. Claudia Lies missed out placing with a full pull of 30 feet, a second pull of 24.
Age 8 First place, Reid Martin, full pull of 30, a second pull was a full pull also; second place, Braden Harp, full pull of 30, a second pull of 28. Bayley Horsch missed out placing with a full pull of 30 feet, a second pull of 25.
Age 9 - First place, Jeri Hintz with a full pull; second place, Leah Martin, 21.
Age 10 First Place, Tyler Puetz with a full pull; Second place, Adam Shackelford, 28.
Age 11 First place, Taylor Harp, 28; second place Trenton Horsch, 26.
